Manage all design projects, including book covers, interior book design, marketing and social media collateral, and printing. Provide feedback and support for students at Ooligan Press, including meeting with project managers and other department heads on upcoming projects.
PORTLAND STATE UNIVERSITY GRADUATE ASSISTANT (PORTLAND, OR)
Responsibilities include being a consultant in PSU Writing Center, advising students on college essays, assignments, personal statements, and writing processes. Teaches introductory college writing, research writing, and technical writing, with each class containing 15-25 students. Design syllabus, assignments, and lesson plans.
TRINITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALIST (REMOTE)
Responsibilities include social media management, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and newsletter creation. Regularly design, write, and edit copy for flyers, brochures, print and online advertisements, and banners to market Trinity Christian School to the Hawaii community. Consult on future marketing and advertising strategies for the 2017-18 school year and update website with new content.
IMPACT ART DIRECTOR (TACOMA, WA)
Coordinated with clients to connect them to Impact’s designers, photographers, and videographers. Oversaw design, distribution, and printing of posters, table top ads, television ads, and Daily Flyer to PLU community. Designed and finished extra projects as needed, advertised Impact around campus, and maintained social media accounts. Worked with Impact Business Director on hiring new designers, including reviewing resumes and conducting interviews.
MEDIALAB VISUAL MEDIA ASSOCIATE (TACOMA, WA)
Worked with clients from the Tacoma community to create advertising packages for various campaigns, including poster, flyer, and brochure design. Worked as team lead with two other members of MediaLab, and was responsible for connecting with clients and team.
BARBARA POPE BOOK DESIGN INTERN (HONOLULU, HI)
Proofread manuscripts and proofs for ongoing projects, primarily for spelling, grammar, formatting, and content consistency. Worked in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to digitally restore antique photographs, as well as create maps and diagrams.
PACIFIC LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS INTERN (TACOMA, WA)
Connected student club and organization leaders to new members and campus resources to promote organization and student leadership within the 70+ existing clubs on PLU’s campus. Performed duties such as event planning, training new club leaders, planning involvement fairs (September & February), and website management. Also coordinated the clubs and orgs newsletter, sent out bi-weekly, and designed informational posters for club use.

BLACK & GOLD CHAPTER (TACOMA, WA)
Inducted member of PLU Mortar Board Honor Society, Black and Gold Chapter. In October 2016, elected as Mortar Board’s Communications Director in October 2017. Responsibilities included marketing and advertising fundraising events and managing the Facebook page.
