About Me
Jenny Kimura is a graphic designer and book designer originally from Kailua, Hawaii. Growing up in a family of artists, readers, and writers, Jenny first declared that she would be a “book artist” when she was twelve years old. Now with a BFA in Graphic Design from Pacific Lutheran University and an MA in Book Publishing from Portland State University, she is a senior book designer at Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, designing covers and interiors for a wide variety of middle-grade and young-adult novels, as well as some graphic novels and picture books. Her book covers have been New York Times and IndieBound bestsellers.
She is also a freelance book and graphic designer, taking in book design work through Indigo: Editing, Design, and More, and has designed everything from social media posts to booklets to logos to album covers. You can follow her on Instagram at @jennykimuradesign.
